- Email address (for login and notifications)
- Password (stored securely hashed, we cannot see it)
- Business name, address, phone number
- Business logo (if uploaded)
Business Data You Enter
- Customer names, addresses, phone numbers, emails
- Invoice and quote details (services, pricing, notes)
- Calendar events and job schedules
- Expense records and financial data
- Photos attached to jobs (stored encrypted)
- Team member information
Automatically Collected
- Device type and browser (for compatibility)
- IP address (for security and abuse prevention)
- Usage patterns (which features you use, for improvements)
- Error logs (to fix bugs)
How We Use Your Data
- Core Service: Store and display your invoices, customers, and business data
- Email Delivery: Send invoices to your customers on your behalf
- AI Features: Process text you choose to polish (not stored after processing)
- Payment Processing: Connect you with Stripe for customer payments
- Account Security: Verify your identity and prevent unauthorized access
- Service Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to improve features

Data Retention
- Active Account: Data retained while your account is active
- Deleted Data: Removed within 30 days of deletion request
- Account Deletion: All data permanently deleted within 30 days
- Backups: May persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days
- Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law
Your Rights
You can:
- Access: View all your data in the app anytime
- Export: Download your data in JSON or CSV format (Business Settings → Data Export)
- Correct: Edit any information directly in the app
- Delete: Delete individual records or your entire account
- Restrict: Contact us to limit how we use your data
California Residents (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it's used
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)

Children's Privacy
TrustQuote is designed for business use and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
